How it works

From a cargo manifest to a practical 3D load plan.

Cubizoo evaluates a regular-grid baseline and multiple deterministic maximal-space strategies, mixes allowed 90° orientations, and checks bounds, collisions, payload, compatible support coverage, projected center stability, and door clearance.

Cargo profiles add operational constraints: same-SKU support, a maximum layer count, floor-only cargo, and top loads propagated through every supporting layer. Every candidate plan must also produce a valid sequence with supporting cargo first and unobstructed cargo loaded from the far end toward the doors. Real loads still need supplier-rated stacking limits, securing, axle distribution, and carrier-specific checks.

Frequently asked questions

How accurate is this container loading calculator?+

It produces a collision-free, axis-aligned item placement within the entered dimensions, payload, support type, and layer limit. Real capacity can be lower because of clearances, load securing, packaging deformation, axle distribution, and handling constraints.

What is the difference between CBM and container loading?+

CBM compares total volume. Container loading also checks whether each item can occupy a valid position and orientation without crossing the container boundary or another item.

Can different cargo types be loaded together?+

Yes. Add up to eight cargo types and set rotation, cargo profile, and maximum layers independently. Different SKUs can share the container, but the conservative default does not use one SKU to support another.

Why are big bags floor-only by default?+

Big bags can deform and their stacking rating depends on design, filling, and supplier instructions. The preset therefore starts at one layer. Increase it only when the cargo has a verified stacking allowance.

Does the result check container weight?+

Yes. Every loaded item is added to the running cargo weight and the plan stops before the selected container payload is exceeded.
